Terms of Service & License

Last updated: [DATE]

These terms govern your subscription to and use of Blueprint Graph Builder (the “Software”), provided by Pedestel ([Legal name], [Address]; “we”, “us”). By subscribing or using the Software you agree to them.

1. Purchases and our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.

2. Subscription

3. License grant

While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for one named user (“seat”) to install and use the Software on any number of machines that person uses, for personal or commercial projects. Each additional person needs their own subscription. Automated build machines used by a licensed user's team are allowed.

4. Your content

Blueprints, widgets and other assets you create or modify with the Software belong to you. They do not depend on the Software, and you may keep using, modifying and distributing them, including in commercial products, after your subscription ends.

5. AI assistant and third-party models

The optional AI assistant connects to an AI provider or local model that you choose and configure. Your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with it, and you are responsible for its fees. We don't control third-party models and don't guarantee that generated scripts are correct; review them and keep backups before running scripts that modify assets.

6. Restrictions

You may not: redistribute, sell, sublicense or share the Software or its source code; publish your license key; remove, bypass or disable the license check; or use the Software to build a competing product. The Software is editor-only and must not be included in packaged games or applications.

7. Updates and support

Active subscribers receive updates and email support at info@pedestel.com. We don't guarantee support for every engine version or platform.

8. Termination

The license ends when your subscription ends or if you breach these terms. After that, the Software stops creating or editing assets; section 4 continues to apply.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Keep your projects under version control and back them up before running scripts that modify assets.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

11. Trademarks

Unreal and Unreal Engine are trademarks or registered trademarks of Epic Games, Inc. The Software is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Epic Games.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
